Origin Story...
CHOSEN was born in Washington Heights in New York City. It was born out of a love of custom suiting and a need to be my own man.
There are so many places to buy a custom made suit but surprisingly few offer the options that many of us who love to put on a suit love and cant live without. So few places that catered to those of us who want to get dressed not just those of us who need to.
CHOSEN is meant to be the one place where anyone can unlock their sartorial style!
Why We Do It...
Short answer: Because it’s fun and we love it.
During my days as a somm I loved the moment I put on my suit and hit the floor. It was like a transformation. From mild mannered wine guy to your “Spiritual Guide”, Controller of gastronomic destinies, The guy who was going to show you an amazing time. It was in large part because I always stood out. for several reason but not the least of which was my suits were almost custom. They fit better, they looked better and they were a reflection of my personality and not the one style fits all approach of an off the rack suit.
A suit. Something created to make you blend in has be come the ultimate way to stand out.
I think that everyone should know that feeling…
